What is gold fill?
Gold-filled jewelry is much more valuable than gold-plated. In fact, there is 100 times more gold in gold-filled items than is found in gold-plated items. It has the same desirable properties and look of solid gold. It is highly tarnish-resistant and water-safe. Wearers who are sensitive to certain metals can wear gold filled without worries of an allergic reaction.
Creating these pieces is a deeply personal journey for me, born out of profound experiences of loss and love.

My journey into crafting cremation jewelry began when a dear friend lost her father. I dedicated weeks to perfecting the art, ensuring each piece embodied a perfect balance of ratios, design, and technique before incorporating her father's ashes. Witnessing her heartfelt reaction to the finished piece was incredibly moving—it remains one of the most special creations I've ever made. I am deeply grateful for her trust in me to create such a meaningful keepsake.
Yet, it was my own loss, the passing of my sister in 2019, that truly deepened my understanding of these pieces. Through my grief, crafting these pieces for myself and my family brought immense comfort. They continue to serve as cherished connections to my sister, reminding us of her presence in our lives every day.
I understand the significance of these pieces and the trust you place in me to honor your loved one's memory. Each creation is crafted with the utmost care and respect, and any unused ashes will always be returned to you.

Ash delivery options:
1. Local Delivery:
- We can discuss a meet time.
- Only a small amount of ashes are needed for your piece(s) - a tablespoon will do.
- If you would like to bring the entire urn I can remove the amount needed for you.

2. Shipping Ashes:
- Please wait to receive your customized mailing instructions before sending the ashes. Immediately after your order has been placed, you will receive instructions in your email specific to your location and order information. If you do not receive this email, please reach out to me.
- Only a small amount of ashes are needed; half a tablespoon will do. The extras will be returned to you with your piece(s).
- You can put the ashes into a ziplock (double bagged is best) and then into an envelope or packaging of your choosing. Please avoid shipping in a large container because it could increase shipping charges.
- I suggest purchasing tracked shipping.

It takes me approximately 4 weeks once I recieve the ashes to complete the ring
CUSTOM SIZES * I can do any size from 3 to 13, including half sizes. I am not able to do quarter sizes. If you require a size different than the listed sizes, please select "custom size" and leave a note on your order with your desired size. The custom sizes are hand made to order by a third party and the current wait time is approximately 18 weeks for the custom ring base to be made. Once I have the base, it would take me approximately 2-3 weeks to complete the stone. Please note these are estimates and are subject to change. Feel free to message me to inquire about specific wait times based on the size you need. To avoid these wait times, I would suggest selecting one of the listed sizes :)
