I dedicated weeks to perfecting the art, ensuring each piece embodied a perfect balance of ratios, design, and technique before incorporating her father's ashes. Witnessing her heartfelt reaction to the finished piece was incredibly moving—it remains one of the most special creations I've ever made. I am deeply grateful for her trust in me to create such a meaningful keepsake.
Yet, it was my own loss, the passing of my sister in 2019, that truly deepened my understanding of these pieces.
